St. Albans Recital Day Report

St Alban’s Recital Day and Student Lunchtime Recital.

On Saturday 18 March 15 organists, including Trustees, Robin Coxon and Roy Meek, Teacher, Roger Carter, students and friends of NSOS contributed to the St Albans Branch Recital Day at Marlborough Road Methodist Church.

Those who came at various times throughout the day enjoyed hearing pieces by, among others, Buxtehude, Bach and Rheinberger, Clérambault, Couperin and Vierne, Purcell, Stanley, Arthur Wills and Peter Hurford, as well as the refreshments on offer!

The Tuesday lunchtime recital on 21 March was given by 5 students of the school.
