Organ Tuition
The New School of Organ Studies is an educational trust registered as a
charity. Formed in 1990, it aims to provide professional and church organ
tuition for all levels of student activity and to encourage a high standard
of musicianship by arranging recitals, masterclasses and student concerts.
The School has four branches in Bedford, Hemel Hempstead, Luton and
St. Albans. It currently has students of all ages and experience, and
beginners are especially welcome. Many students play for church services,
whilst others prepare programmes for concerts and festivals. Some play
solely for the enjoyment of making music on the "King of Instruments".
it is the policy of the New School of Organ Studies to minimise tuition
fees. To support these, the School raises funds through an energetic
programme of celebrity recitals, weekly lunchtime recitals in Luton and St.
Albans, student concerts and other activities.
