An Educational Trust - Registered Charity No. 803335

The New School of Organ Studies was founded in 1990 by Geoffrey Symon. It was the increasing demand for weekly organ lessons and the need to reconcile the difference between the rates that students could afford and the fee teachers required, with administration costs which led him to register the New School of Organ Studies as a charity and to the appointment of non-executive trustees.

The New School of Organ Studies has grown into a substantial institution with a number of self governing local branches. which work closely together for the benefit of the New School of Organ Studies as a whole.

The New School of Organ Studies welcomes absolute beginners. A successful tution method is offered. With a sound business practice the New School of Organ Studies is able to offer a complete management programme to a prospective branch.

The fund raising activities of each branch is part of the fundemental structure of the New School of Organ Studies that allows it to thrive. The New School of Organ Studies puts on many organ recitals, done either by the students of the school or by their teachers to raise money and raise the profile of the charity.

One of The New School of Organ Studies aims is to attract more friends to the school to continue this support.
